He Tells Me "I am Near"

If you don't have a copy of the "Jesus Calling" Devotional by Sarah Young, run out right now and get one! It's so amazing sometimes how spot on the message is for me! I've been tempted to check other peoples copies to see if God changed MY copy specifically for me that day! :)   I was always taught that the Bible is God's Love Letter to me. The Jesus Calling Devotional makes that more real. I am so moved sometimes that I have to do a faith art journal page about them! Here are some pictures of my Scrappy-Smashy-Faith Art Journal in progress:

I Am Completely Adored by the King

Yes, I am still obsessing over Neon! I am working on a neon mini album. I love the small size because I can put the journal and all my supplies in one small zipper case and drop it in my purse.  (Well, stuff it in my purse. ..but that's another post...)
 

I started by scanning the words on an old hymnal page.  The word "adored" jumped out at me and the phrase "I am completely adored by the king" came to mind. This is what the Lord is teaching me these days. No matter my performance or rather the lack of my performance, he still ADORES me! And you!

 

I stamped these houses. The image wasn't so great, so I just colored in with my neon markers!
